Chelsea Blackwell Opens Up About Therapy After 'Love Is Blind' Backlash

Season 6 star says she started therapy after filming the show

"I feel pretty uncomfortable with the way I was portrayed," Blackwell says

Chelsea Blackwell, a star of the sixth season of "Love Is Blind," has opened up about starting therapy after filming the show. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Blackwell said that she felt "pretty uncomfortable" with the way she was portrayed on the show, and that therapy has helped her to process her experience.

"I think the biggest thing for me was just being able to talk to someone who understands what I'm going through," Blackwell said. "I've never been on a reality TV show before, so it was a lot to take in. I was really struggling with the way I was being perceived by the public, and therapy has helped me to work through that."

Blackwell also said that therapy has helped her to learn more about herself and her relationships. "I've learned a lot about my own communication style and how I can improve it," she said. "I've also learned a lot about the importance of setting boundaries and taking care of my own mental health."

Blackwell's decision to seek therapy is a reminder that it's important to take care of your mental health, especially after a difficult experience. If you're struggling with your mental health, reach out to a therapist or counselor for help.
